Nitro Regional Race format for 2008

Qualifying starts Saturday morning 11am. Open practice is 10 am till 10:45am. We will attempt to run 3 qualifiers time and turnout permitting. All qualifiers are 10 minutes. We will be running 1 qualifying round Sunday morning at 10:30 am. It will be for those who did not run on Saturday only. This will be strictly enforced. Mains will follow immediately.
Race fee's are as follows
1st class is $35, each additional class is $10. There is a 1 event ROAR pass available for those who are not yearly members.
We are running the following classes, 1/8 buggy, 1/8 truggy, production monster truck, 1/10 nitro 2wd truck.
Come on out and support ROAP and the local racing scene. A great turnout and weekend of fun is ahead for everyone!

ROAR REGION 1 NITRO REGIONALS JULY 26 AND 27

We are proud to host the ROAR 2008 Region 1 Nitro Regionals. They are being held on July 26 and 27. A 1 event pass is available for those who are not memebers. Qualifying is held on Saturday starting at 11 am. Open practice starts at 10 am. Mains are being held Sunday starting at 11am. 45 minute A mains and long lower mains. New track layout as well.

The Barn and Wolcott Hobby are pleased to announce the first annual Northeast Super Series sponsored by RC Driver and GMK Supply.
The 4 race point series will be based on your finish position for each race. The more races that you attend, the more points you will accumulate for the final total!!
The race results are based on your overall finis The prizes will be listed along with race dates soon. Stay tuned for the particular race day that you are in. If you attend all 4 races, then you will accumulate 4 races worth of points. There are no throw aways. The final trophy presentation and door prizes will be held at Wolcott Hobby immediately following the end round 4. Next year it will be at the Barn! Trophies and plaques for top 25 drivers in 1/8 Buggy and Arena truck classes. Top 15 in Production Monster truck as well.

Race Schedule 2008

Here is the preliminary race schedule for 2008. There may be some changes as we head into the Nitro Season. Please note that all 2 day races are running in the following format
Sat qualifying starts at 11 am. We are running Arena truck, Production Truck, Mini CRT, and all electric classes in full. That means Qualifying and mains will be run on Sat for those classes.
Sunday qualifying starts at 11 am sharp. Classes that will be running are 1/8 buggy and 1/10 nitro truck. Qualifiers and mains will be run in full for those classes only.
All 1 day races are slated for the standard qualifying and mains schedule.
All 2 day races are slated for Saturday running of Arena Truck and Monster truck classes in full, and Sunday running of 1/8 buggy only.

May 25th Tri State Championship
June 7th and 8th CT State Championship race

2008 ROAR Nitro Off-Road Regionals at Wolcott Hobby

We will be the host track for the 2008 ROAR Region 1 Nitro Off-Road Regionals for 2008. Be sure to show your support for the ROAR Organization this upcoming race season.
